...

Turns out it's not a good idea to hit a large deer. In the middle of nowhere. In pitch-black night. Driving a tiny MINI Cooper. Alone. And less than a third of the way through an 8-week solo roadtrip.

Luckily, the good kind people of Dubois, Wyoming gave me a place to stay, taped up the broken bits, and offered so much love and kindness that hope was renewed and fears allayed. And none of the creeper night-walking men who lurked around my car upon arrival, seemed to be around once daylight hit.

(more to come)
